Why We'll Never Stop Offering New Prints (Even When It's Hard)

There's a question I get asked more than almost any other at markets: "Do you always have new prints?"

The honest answer? Yes — and it costs us.

Not just in dollars (though fabric minimums, sourcing trips, and the sheer time it takes to audition hundreds of prints before choosing the ones adds up fast). It costs us in complexity. Every new print means new pairings to consider, new combinations to test, new inventory to manage. It would be so much simpler to settle on a core lineup and call it done.

But here's the thing — we can't. And we don't want to.

At Leia's, the prints are part of the magic. The way a vintage floral exterior pairs with a cheeky mushroom liner. The surprise of unzipping a neutral bag to find something wildly unexpected inside. That little moment of delight? That's what we're after.

We believe your bag should feel like you — not like the same bag everyone else is carrying. And that means we keep hunting. We keep sourcing. We keep pairing fabrics together in our studio until something makes us genuinely excited.

It's more work. It's more cost. And it's absolutely worth it.

So the next time you open one of our bags and smile at the liner — know that someone spent a lot of time making sure you would.
